ABOUT US

Friends of Four Parks Alliance was formed in May 2016 by a group of community minded residents with a goal of enhancing the quality of the parks in our neighborhood -Joyce Kilmer, Franz Sigel, Macombs Dam and Foster parks. The organization advocates for protecting the environmental quality of our parks and is committed to maintaining our parks as accessible, family-friendly resources for all. We incorporated in November 2016 and obtained 501 (c)(3) status from the IRS. Our purpose is to sponsor and administer programs and activities promoting preservation, enhancement and maintenance of green spaces and parkland in our area of the South Bronx, namely Macombs Dam Park, Franz Sigel Park, Foster Park and Joyce Kilmer Park. 2017 was our first year of activity.
